Zoetzure Komkommers: Cucumbers in sweet and sour liquid

Learn to make these delicious cucumbers in a sweet and sour liquid! This is what my mom would make every time we ate cauliflower with meatballs. I loved it as a kid, and would end up drinking the juice the cucumbers were in. It's quick to make, and is a great addition to any meal!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cucumber
  • 80 ml Water
  • 160 ml Distilled white vinegar
  • 2 tsp Sugar

Method
 

  1. Mix water, vinegar, and sugar. Make sure the sugar is fully dissolved.
  2. Peel your cucumber, and slice it really thin.
  3. In a bowl, combine the cucumbers and water/vinegar mixture. Cover, and let sit for 30 minutes in the fridge
