Make Pannetje
- Using a Microplane, grate the garlic.
- Chope the onion and pepper in equally sized pieces. I like them a bit larger, but you can make them whatever size you'd like. If you would like, you can cut your green beans in thirds.
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil.
- Once the water is boiling, add the green beans. While they are cooking, fill a large boil with ice-cold water.Cook the green beans for 8 minutes
- Once the green beans have finished cooking, put them in the ice-cold water, to stop the cooking. Let them sit in there for a few minutes, and then drain them in the colander.
- Dump the water out of the pan, and wipe it dry. Heat it up, and add the oil.
- Fry the garlic for a minute, then add the ground beef. Break it apart, then add the sambal oelek, ketjap manis, ginger powder, salt & Pepper. Stir-fry everything for a few minutes, until the beef is halfway cooked.
- Add the onions and the peppers, and keep stir-frying until the beef is fully cooked.
- Add the green beans, and toss it all together, until everything is evenly distributed. Stir-fry for a few minutes, until the green beans are warmed through.
- Add the peanut sauce, and mix it all, until every ingredient is coated in the sauce. This is not a saucy dish, so there won't be a pool of sauce.
